FREDONIA, N.Y. - The Frostburg State men's and women's swimming teams posted seven top-eight finishes and 14 top-16 finishes on day two of the Fredonia Invitational, Saturday.

Sophomore
Arielle Harding (Damascus, Md./Good Counsel) captured a team-high second-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.56.
Freshman
Trevor Kozlow (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) and senior
Thirza Roberto (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) each took home a third-place finish for the Bobcats on the day. Kozlow placed third in the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.81) and Roberto touched the wall in third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:20.40). Roberto also captured fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:21.90 while Kozlow placed in 11th place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.40).
In the 200-yard butterfly, freshman
Alix Bunten (Herndon, Va./Herndon) finished in fifth place (2:28.93) for the women and classmate
Caleb Stair (Hyndman, Pa./Hyndman) placed sixth for the men's squad with a time of 2:10.28. Stair also finished tenth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.34).
Junior
Bill Ford (Towson, Md./Calvert Hall) captured 12th place in the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.55) while senior
Jack Hudson (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) followed directly behind in 13th place with a time of 5:16.65.
Helping the Frostburg State men's squad was freshman
Reed Brown (Silver Spring, Md./Sherwood) with a 14th place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (2:16.78) and a 16th place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.93).
Freshman
Sam Mulvey (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) also had a top-16 place finish for the Bobcat women in the 100-yard freestyle, where she finished 16th, touching the wall at 1:00.24.
In the 800-yard freestyle relay, freshman
Bob Norr (Darnestown, Md./Patuxent) joined Ford, Kozlow and Hudson to finish in eighth place with a time of 7:55.44.
The Bobcats are back in the pool tomorrow Sunday, December 6 for the final day of the Fredonia State Invitational at 10:00 am.
