ALTOONA, Pa. - The Frostburg State men's basketball team rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to earn a 65-59 victory over Penn State Altoona in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action, Wednesday.

The Bobcats improve to 5-1 overall on the season and earn their second-straight AMCC victory and sit at 2-1. The Lions slip to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the league.
Bobcat junior Busha Koffa (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) turned in a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Junior
Brian Anderson (Perry Hall, Md./Eastern Tech) added 13 points while sophomore
Bradley Nunn (Ft. Washington, Md./Riverdale Baptist) grabbed 10 boards and scored six points.
FSU led for much of the opening half of play and built a 10-point lead (19-9) just before the midway point. Penn State Altoona recaptured the lead behind a 19-4 run that covered nine minutes and handed the hosts a 28-23 lead with 1:06 left in the period. Frostburg State scored the half's final four points and trailed by just one, 28-27, at the break.
The Lions appeared to take control of the game early in the second half, using the first 6:36 of the period to take a 12-point lead, 48-36. However, the Bobcats refused to back down while Koffa and Anderson sparked a 16-4 run that covered six minutes and tied the contest at 52-52 with 7:34 to play. Koffa started and ended the run with a pair of baskets while Anderson accounted for six points during the stretch.

Chevon Pinnock (Capitol Heights, Md./Central) hit a three-pointer that put the Bobcats up four, 58-54, but the Lions' Kirk Peters made a layup at 2:14 that tied the contest again, this time at 59. However, the Bobcat defense would hold the Lions without another point the rest of the game. Pinnock made two free throws at 2:07 to put FSU up two, 61-59, while Anderson and Nunn each made baskets inside the final 20 seconds to seal the win.
The game was evenly matched as FSU shot 41.0 percent (25-of-61) from the floor while PSA shot 41.9 percent (26-of-62). Each team committed 14 turnovers and 18 personal fouls. The Bobcats led in rebounds (39-33) and were 13-of-19 (68.4%) from the foul ine compared to just 6-of-15 (40.0%) for the Lions. Peters led PSA with 25 points while Jay Adamsky had 11 boards.
