Men's Hoops Loses to Penn State Behrend 77-58

ERIE, Pa. - The Frostburg State men's basketball team fell behind early in the first half and never recovered as it lost to AMCC rival Penn State Behrend, 77-58, Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats (11-7, 8-6) fell behind 22-5 eight minutes into the first half and trailed by 11 at halftime (35-24). FSU narrowed the gap to seven points (46-39) just under 12 minutes left in the second half, but the Lions (13-4, 10-3) pulled away over the remainder of the contest for the 19-point win.

Junior Jamal Bracken (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Tech) led Frostburg State with 10 points.

FSU returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at La Roche at 8:00 pm.
