Ogg finished 10-of-15 (66.6%) from the floor, pulled down nine rebounds and handed out a game-high seven assists in helping the Bobcats (17-8) to their fifth-straight win. FSU advanced to the semifinals and will take on host and top seed Medaille in a rematch of last year's semifinal matchup. The two teams will square off on Friday at 6:00 pm in Buffalo, N.Y.
The game started out slow as neither team got going offensively until FSU used a 12-3 spurt for an 11-point lead (28-17) with 2:27 left in the opening half. After the Mounties (14-12) brought the score to within five, junior
Brian Anderson (Perry Hall, Md./Eastern Tech) hit a jumper with four seconds showing to give the hosts a 32-25 lead at intermission.
FSU never trailed in the contest and the Bobcat defense kept the Mt. Aloysius (14-12) offense from threatening in the second half. The Bobcats broke open a seven-point cushion using 10 minutes over the later stages of the second half to extend their lead to 19 (77-58) with just 2:42 to play. Anderson finished with 20 points and three 3-pointers while senior
Nick Sefcik (Shady Grove, Md./Damascus) added 16 points and four 3-pointers. Junior Busha Koffa (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) grabbed 11 rebounds and freshman
