Ramon Gutierrez (Gilbert, Ariz./West Ferris Secondary School (Gilbert CC)) picked up the only Frostburg State men's tennis team win as it fell to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent, Penn State Behrend, 8-1, Sunday afternoon.
FSU has an overall record of 7-5 and a conference record of 5-3.
Gutierrez recorded his win the No. 2 singles match when he defeated Chris Galvin with scores of 6-1, 6-2. Sophomore
Eddie McMurtrie (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) lost a hard fought match in the number three singles competition after PSB's Brad Nagel picked up the win with scores of 7-6(4), 4-6, 7-6(9).
