After meeting Mike Anton, on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, at a recent RMH telethon event where Feeley played the piano, he was asked to represent McDonald's at the Philadelphia Phillies game, Wednesday evening, April 14. Anton has been with the Ronald McDonald House Charities for the past 18 years and when the opporunity arose for McDonald's to chose someone to throw out the first pitch as a part of their sponsorship of the Phillies, Anton recommended Feeley without hesitation.

Feeley, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer this past January, was honored to throw out the first pitch at a Philadelphia Phillies game, being a long time fan of the team himself.

He is currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, Pa. while undergoing treatments at University of Penn. Though a cancer diagnosis is never a good thing, he's outlook is increasing dramatically and the treatments have continued to be successful over the last few months.
