FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State women's lacrosse team and senior
Marissa Henderson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) are both ranked eighth in the country in caused turnovers in the weekly NCAA Division III statistical rankings for the week of April 18th, announced Tuesday.
Frostburg State (8-7) holds the eighth position in caused turnovers with 12.5 per game while Henderson secured the eighth spot individually this week with 2.79 caused turnovers per game.
Henderson also holds the 19th position in ground balls with 4.57 per game while senior
Davia Procida (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) is ranked 31st in ground balls per game (4.15) and 59th in caused turnovers (1.85).
Sophomore goalie
Tori Butts (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) continues to be nationally ranked, securing the 36th position this week in saves with 125 stops on the season.
FSU, as a team, is also ranked 37th in ground balls per game (24.29) and 70th in points (224.0).
The Bobcats are back on the field in Bobcat Stadium on Saturday, April 24 for senior day when they take on Division II Shepherd at 1:00 pm.
