GIBSONIA, Pa. - After guiding Frostburg State to an AMCC Championship title, sophomores
Megan Magee (Egg Harbor, N.J./Holy Spirit) and
Megan Henne (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) were selected as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week and Player of the Week respectively for the week of May 10.
The Bobcats (29-14) went 3-0 during the conference tournament to capture the crown after defeating Medaille in the championship game 7-1.
Throughout the tournament, Magee only allowed one run in the three victories for FSU while striking out 18 batters in 21 innings of work. Henne hit .666 during the AMCC tournament and colleced two hits in each of the three games, aiding in the three wins for Frostburg State.
FSU returns to action when it travels to Christopher Newport to play Susquehanna in the first round of the NCAA tournament at 2:00 pm.
