Frostburg State University Athletics

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Senior Gwen Massey (Thorofare, N.J./West Deptford) and junior Anne Patron (Baltimore, Md./Dulany) represented the Frostburg State women's track & field team at the Tuppeny Last Chance at Swarthmore, Pa, Monday evening.

Patron was the only competitor to run in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 37:46.44 to better her personal record by 50 seconds while Massey finished 34th, second in her heat in the 1,500 meter run, crossing the finish line at 4:47.23, a personal record for Massey. Both runners qualified for ECAC in their respective events.

The FSU track & field teams are back in action at the Gator Invitational at Meadville, Pa. on May 14th.
