Women's Lacrosse Continues to Be Ranked No. 1 in the Country in Caused Turnovers

FROSTBURG, Md. – For the second-straight week, the Frostburg State women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 1 in the country in caused turnovers with 13.56 per game in the weekly NCAA Division III statistical rankings as announced Tuesday.

Senior Marissa Henderson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) moved to fourth in the country in caused turnovers (2.94 per game) and also currently holds the 20th spot in ground balls (4.56 per game).

Senior Davia Procida (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) joins Henderson in the defensive rankings as she is ranked 28th in ground balls (4.2 per game) and holds the 38th position in caused turnovers (2.0 per game).

As a team, FSU (9-7) also currently ranked 27th in ground balls with 25.0 per game.

The Bobcats finished their regular season with a 19-6 victory over Division II Shepherd and are now awaiting an ECAC tournament bid.
