FROSTBURG, Md. – The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has released its second 2010 regional polls, Thursday, May 6. The committee has ranked the top 15 percent of eligible teams in each region with Frostburg State taking the ninth spot in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The Bobcats (29-11) are the only Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference team to make the rankings.
Frostburg State captured the number one seed in the AMCC last week after splitting a doubleheader with conference rival Penn State Behrend. The Bobcats will host the conference championship tournament next week starting on Friday, May 14. FSU will play the second game of the day at 12:00 pm taking on the winner of the #5 Mount Aloysius/#4 La Roche game taking place on Saturday, May 8 at 1:00 pm.
