FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State University Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) recently sponsored a successful Soles4Souls charity drive in November and part of December.

SAAC collected 354 pairs of shoes from students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community. The shoe drive lasted through November and December, including “Soles4Souls” basketball games as the FSU men’s and women’s teams played host to Capital Athletic Conference member York (Pa.) on Dec. 10.

Soles4Souls is a shoe charity that collects gently worn shoes and monies to provide shoes to those in need. For more information go visit their website at www.soles4souls.com.
