YORK, Pa. - Junior shortstop Shari Beavers has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week as she led the Bobcats to four victories, including two conference wins, last week.

Beavers hit .500 (6-for-12) with three home runs, nine RBIs, two doubles and seven runs scored. She is now second on the team with five home runs and 14 RBIs.

The Bobcats defeated Stevenson in two games on Saturday, with Beavers going 3-for-4 with a homer, four RBIs, three runs and a double.
