FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State men’s tennis team has earned the fifth seed in the upcoming 2013 Capital Athletic Conference Tournament.
FSU (2-11) will travel to fourth-seeded York (11-9) for the first round that starts this Saturday, April 20. A time for the match has not been determined. YCP captured a 9-0 win over the Bobcats this past Sunday at Frostburg.
The other first round match includes sixth-seeded Wesley (1-6) at third-seeded St. Mary’s (11-6). The top two seeds; #1 Mary Washington (11-9) and #2 Salisbury (12-8) earned a first round bye.
UMW will host the winner of the Frostburg/York match while SU will welcome the winner of Wesley/St. Mary’s in the semifinals on Tuesday, April 23.
The league championship is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, at the highest remaining seed.
