FREDERICK, Md. – The Frostburg State University men's cross country team captured fifth place at the Hood College Open Invitational, Saturday.
Meet Results FSU freshman Brad Baker was the team's top finisher for the third-straight meet. At Hood, Baker captured 17
th place in 28:30.2. Junior Greg Horning was the Bobcats' second finisher after crossing the finish line in 23
rd place in 29:12.4.
Sophomore Stanton Higham, freshman Gartee Guar and senior Jon Stewart all finished within five places of one another and rounded out the top-five runners. Higham captured 26
th (29:20.6), Guar took 28
th (29:23.2) and Stewart was 31
st (29:34.2).
Freshman Gordon Bickerstaff earned 34
th place (29:56.4) and junior Adam Jenkins earned 38
th (30:06.8).
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the CAC Championships at Mary Washington.
