WASHINGTON, Pa. – Following losses by both squads on Thursday, second-ranked Frostburg State and eighth-ranked Shenandoah will play at noon on Friday at Ross Memorial Park. The losing team will be eliminated from the 2015 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional.
 
How We Got Here
Frostburg (38-7) suffered a narrow 4-3 loss to La Roche Thursday afternoon when the Redhawks earned the win on a game-ending, run-scoring double in the bottom of the ninth. In its first game of the regional, the Bobcats defeated host Washington & Jefferson, 7-1, on Wednesday.
 
How They Got Here
Shenandoah endured a 5-0 loss to Heidelberg in the final game on Thursday evening. Heidelberg limited the Hornets to just two hits, both coming in the eighth inning. SU posted a 5-1 win over Adrian on Wednesday in the first round.
 
Winner Advances
The winner of the Frostburg State and Shenandoah contest returns to action in the third game on Friday at 6:30 pm against Heidelberg.
