Volleyball Takes on Eastern in First Round of 2009 NCAA Tournament
FROSTBURG, Md. - For the third-straight year, the Frostburg State volleyball team has earned a trip to the NCAA tournament after capturing the AMCC Championship this past weekend. This year, the Bobcats will take on Eastern at host Juniata College on Thursday, November 12 at 12:30 pm, as announced by the NCAA, Monday.

Frostburg State Crowned AMCC Champion; Earns Automatic Bid To NCAA Tournament
FROSTBURG, Md. – Senior Brooke Winterling smashed 25 kills and the Frostburg State volleyball team defeated Penn State Behrend, 3-1, in the AMCC Championship match, Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats earned their third-straight championship, and tenth overall and will receive an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament.

Volleyball Advances to AMCC Championship; Will Play Behrend for Title
FROSTBURG, Md. – Senior Brooke Winterling smashed 21 kills and the Frostburg State volleyball team cruised past Penn State Altoona, 3-0, in the AMCC Tournament semifinals, Friday evening. The Bobcats earned their third-straight trip to the championship game with the victory and will face Penn State Behrend, which defeated Pitt-Bradford in the second semifinal matchup, 3-1.

The Bobcat duo have been named to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II second and third teams, respectively.
