FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State University head volleyball coach Becky Fletcher has recently announced the addition of Kevin Larkin as the program’s assistant coach.
Larkin brings with him a wealth of head coaching experience at the NCAA Division III level.
Most recently, Larkin served as the head coach of the Penn State Abington women’s volleyball team for three seasons from 2009-2011. During that time, he also served as a head coach for High Line Volleyball Club in Hatboro, Pa.
A native of Bensalem, Pa., Larkin was the head coach of the men’s volleyball team at Penn State Abington from 2008-10. He served as an assistant volleyball coach for both the men’s and women’s teams at Abington from January 2007 until November 2008, when he took over as the head coach of the men’s program.
Larkin started his collegiate volleyball coaching career at Penn State Harrisburg where he served as head coach of the women’s squad from 2005-06.
A USA Volleyball Level I and IMPACT Certified coach, Larkin earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in American Studies from Penn State University.
Larkin played for and helped form the Penn State Harrisburg men’s club team in 2005. In 2001, he won the Coaches Award as a member of the Penn State Abington men’s club team.
