Graham & Fazenbaker Repeat As CoSIDA Academic All-District Selections

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State women's soccer duo of senior Adria Graham and junior Stephanie Fazenbaker have both been selected to the Capital One Academic All-District II women's soccer teams as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), late Thursday.

The duo were voted to the All-District First Team for the second-consecutive year and were two of 13 first-team honorees this fall. Graham and Fazenbaker are now eligible for the Capital One Academic All-America teams that will be released on Friday, Nov. 22.

Graham and Fazenbaker have led the Bobcats to an 8-7-2 overall record this season and the fifth seed in the upcoming Capital Athletic Conference Tournament. The tandem currently lead the Bobcats in scoring with a combined 47 points and both have started all 17 games this season.

Graham is currently second on the roster with 19 points behind eight goals and three assists. The two-time CAC Player of the Year and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American, is third all-time in school history in career points (133) and career goals (59). A six-time Dean's List student, Graham is an athletic training major with a 3.96 GPA.

Fazenbaker is currently tied for second in the CAC in goals scored (12) and is tied for third with 28 points. A 2012 First Team All-CAC honoree, Fazenbaker has scored in eight of 17 games this year with a five-goal effort against Waynesburg in mid-September. A four-time Dean's List student, Fazenbaker carries a 3.96 GPA and majors in biology.

The duo were both named Capital One Academic All-American selections a year ago, becoming the first teammates to earn the honor in school history.

District II consists of colleges and universities from Connecticut, Washington D.C., Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Rhode Island and West Virginia. To be eligible for the COSIDA Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be a starter or significant reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average.

Frostburg State women's soccer will play fourth-seeded Salisbury tomorrow in the first round of the CAC Tournament at 1:00 pm.
