FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State sophomore Naya Cheatem grabbed her second honor of the week as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) placed her on the Honorable Mention North All-Region team.
 
Cheatem finished third nationally in total kills (607) and total attacks (1,591). Her 607 kills are good for third-best in a season in the FSU record books. Cheatem finished second on the team with 63 total blocks, 11 solo and 52 assisted, and fourth on the team with 218 digs.
 
Cheatem, along with fellow sophomore Lindsey Scepura, were both named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference teams earlier this week. Cheatem garnered First Team honors, while Scepura was named to the Second Team.
 
The Bobcats finished 2015 with a 17-18 overall record.
