FROSTBURG, Md. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced that the Frostburg State women's soccer team will host a first and second (quarterfinal) round matchup of the 2017 ECAC Division III Women's Soccer Championship.
 
The last time women's soccer hosted an ECAC game was in 2011 when it defeated Stevenson to claim the ECAC South Championship. Four teams will compete at Bobcat Stadium over the weekend in first and quarterfinal round matchups.
 
The ECAC announced the 15-team tournament field earlier this afternoon as Springfield College took the top overall seed and received the only first round bye.
 
Bobcat Stadium hosts the pod three matchups this weekend with No. 1 seeded Grove City facing off with No. 4 seeded Franciscan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
 
Second-seeded Frostburg State takes on fourth-seeded Westminster at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with the winner advancing to the second round to face the winner of Grove City and Franciscan on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
